We finally made it out to visit Anne in Vegas! The whole K family was able to come together, which doesn't happen too often these days with the 5 of us being in 3 different time zones.
Anticipating Gwen's first flight, not to mention the 3 hour time change, we had our concerns. The fact that she came down with the very first ear infection of her entire life the day before we flew out was pretty much par for the course. She was extremely congested leading up to the trip, so I took her to the Dr twice. The first time it was just a bad cold, and the next day, she had a slight fever and the start of an infection so we were given antibiotics. Luckily, that amoxicillin seriously kicks butt and she woke up the morning we were flying out seeming 99% better. She did great on the flight, and loved the takeoff. She didn't sleep nearly as much as we thought she would, but we think that ended up being for the best because she slept great once we got to Anne's house (in Anne's over-sized walk-in closet - ha! I should've taken a pic of that, crap!) and ended up falling right into Vegas time without even skipping a beat!
Anne was, as always, a great trip planner and set everything up so we had a lot to do but there was just enough down time to be able to relax and enjoy each other as well. We had a lot of help with Gwen while we were there too, so Justin and I were able to sleep in, stay out late, and go out on occasion during her nap time without having to worry. Can't beat family vacations, especially once you have a kid in the mix!!

Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay
Children's Discovery Museum - this had just relocated the week before so everything was brand new!
The Beatles - Love by Cirque du Soleil
We really couldn't have asked for a better time. Thanks to Anne and her roomie, Amber for being such great hostesses!
